During August and September OpCOURAGE Peer Support Worker Matt Evans has been out undertaking Engagement and Awareness work with the Gurkha Veteran Community In West London at The Gurkha Centre with the support of Hari Bhandari CEO and in South East London within Greenwich and Plumstead through the support of Community Leader Gyan Tamang. Through this effective method the service has received 9 referrals for Gurkha Veterans who can now benefit from the service, they were not aware before, can assist them with their needs.
